Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno discussed prospects for cooperation with a leading Russian Biotechnological University

On January 9, Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno hosted a working meeting with Evgeny Bitus, a citizen of the Russian Federation, professor at ROSBIOTECH, and an international expert on working with the EAEU, CIS, SCO, and BRICS countries. The main topic of the talks was the development of partnership relations between universities of the two countries.

On the part of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, the meeting was attended by Head of the Department of International Law Lilia Abramchik, Deputy Dean for Ideological and Educational Work at the Faculty of History, Communication and Tourism, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage Tatiana Boyarchuk, Head of the Department of Economics and Management at the Enterprise Irina Bychek, Head of the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology Elizaveta Uzlova, Head of the Department of International Business and Marketing Anastasia Chigrina, Head of the Research Department, Anton Glazev, Associate Professor of the Department of Chemistry and Biotechnology, Alena Belakoz, Head of the Center for Internationalization of Education, Volha Minava, Head of the Department for International Cooperation, and Alesia Belko, Head of the Department for International Projects and Academic Mobility.

The central topic of the meeting was the discussion of the prospects for cooperation between Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno and the Russian Biotechnological University.

Russian Biotechnological University trains specialists in the fields of bioengineering and biotechnology, food chemistry and mechanical engineering, medicine, veterinary medicine, economics, organization, quality management, safety and ecology of food production and high-tech food industries. It trains specialists at the following levels: secondary vocational education, bachelor's degree, Master's degree, postgraduate studies and residency.

After productive negotiations, Evgeny Bitus was given a sightseeing tour of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno. During the tour, the guest was introduced to the history of the university, the main stages of its development and key achievements. In addition, a sightseeing tour of Grodno was organized for the Russian guest.
