Invitation of students of YKSUG to take part in the IX Annual International Symposium

On April 16-18, 2026, the Moscow City Pedagogical Institute will host the IX Annual International Symposium "Education and the City" During the event, participants will discuss the role of education and educational organizations in a modern city, ways to implement the university's third mission, as well as opportunities to ensure sustainable development in an era of uncertainty.

The IX Annual International Symposium will become a platform for establishing horizontal links in the research community and forming new research teams. The meetings will feature the presentation of research results in the field of sustainable development, the quality of education, the integration of educational systems and programs into the modern urban environment, as well as the development of social and humanitarian practices.

The organizers propose several areas for discussion: the university as a center for urban research; the educational environment of the city; the cultural environment of the metropolis as a space for the implementation of innovative humanitarian projects; professional development, the urban context.

To participate in the symposium as a speaker, you must fill out an application form by March 1, in which you need to submit abstracts. This year, the following presentation formats have been identified: a report, a poster, a mini-symposium, and a master class. To participate as a listener, you must specify "without a report" in the "presentation formats" section.
