Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno lecturer Yauheni Auchynnikau showcases his developments at an exhibition in Kazakhstan

Right now, Yauheni Auchynnikau, Head of the Department of Architecture and Construction at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, is participating in the VII International Exhibition on Mechanical Engineering and Metalworking, Kazakhstan Machinery Fair. The event will run until April 4.

The exhibition has brought together experts in the fields of mechanical engineering, metalworking, and welding technologies from Austria, Belarus, Brazil, the United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Spain, Kazakhstan, China, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Russia, the United States, Turkey, France, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Sweden, the Republic of Korea, and Japan. In total, about 300 companies are presenting their cutting-edge developments this year.

The exhibition covers the entire manufacturing industry. Visitors have the opportunity to explore developments in 11 thematic sections: metalworking equipment; forging and pressing equipment; foundry equipment; measuring machines, instruments and tools; metal-cutting tools and tooling; robotics, production automation, software; additive technologies, industrial 3D printing; lubricants and cutting fluids; products of machine-building enterprises; electrical equipment and products; industrial logistics and warehouse technologies.

The Republic of Belarus is presenting over 20 innovative developments at the exhibition. Among them are the developments of Yauheni Auchynnikau. He has presented multifunctional graphene-containing electric spark coatings that increase the service life of various types of products and structures; import-substituting thermosetting carbon-containing polymer nanocomposite coatings; and nanocomposite lubricants.

Yauheni Auchynnikau’s participation in such a large-scale event confirms the high scientific potential of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno and its readiness to actively participate in the development of mechanical engineering and metalworking.
