Lecturers of the Faculty of Philology of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno actively participated in the VIII International Scientific-Practical Conference "Language and Culture in the Modern World", organized by the Faculty of Russian Philology and Foreign Languages of Pskov State University.

Within the framework of the section "Application of Digital Technologies and Artificial Intelligence in Linguistics and Foreign Language Teaching", representatives of the Department of English Philology — Nastassia Dudzko, Head of the Department; Natalia Levchenko, Associate Professor; and Sviatlana Dashkevich, Senior Lecturer — delivered an online report on the topic "Artificial Intelligence in Linguodidactics: From Tools to Educational Solutions".

The report addressed current issues of integrating digital technologies and artificial intelligence tools into the process of teaching foreign languages in higher education. In their presentation, lecturers presented the results of the practical implementation of modern digital resources and also examined the prospects for their use to enhance learning efficiency, develop student autonomy, and form communicative competence.

During the presentation, the lecturers of YKSUG invited their colleagues to participate in an interactive online survey to identify the frequency of using digital technologies and artificial intelligence in teaching, assess their impact on student motivation and the development of communication skills, and determine the main difficulties arising from their integration into the educational process. The results obtained were demonstrated in real time and served as a basis for subsequent discussion.

The presentation generated lively interest among the conference participants. During the discussion, issues of methodological support for digital learning, the technical capabilities of educational institutions, and pedagogical strategies for using artificial intelligence were addressed.

Participation in the conference allowed for the exchange of scientific and pedagogical experience with colleagues from various educational institutions, discussion of current trends in the development of linguodidactics, and identification of directions for further research in the field of digital learning.
