Dialogue with a professor from Saint Petersburg took place at YKSUG

As part of the "Visiting Professor" program, a meeting was held at the Department of Technology, Physiology and Food Hygiene of the Faculty of Biology and Ecology with Natalia Barsukova, Candidate of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, and Head of Master's Degree Educational Programs at the Higher School of Biotechnology and Food Production of the Institute of Biomedical Systems and Biotechnology of Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University.

During the week, Natalia Barsukova delivered a series of lectures on the discipline "Fundamentals of Functional Nutrition" to third-year students specializing in "Fundamental and Applied Biotechnology". As part of her visit, she also met with the leadership and staff of the Faculty of Biology and Ecology and conducted a seminar on "Innovations in the Development of Functional and Specialized Nutrition for the Population".

During the visit to Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, Natalia Barsukova was taken to visit the department's branch at the "Royal" Cafe of the Grodno Regional Philharmonic to familiarize her with the practice-oriented approach in student education, as well as to the exhibition of the Grodno State Historical and Archaeological Museum. In addition, a tour of historical sites in Grodno was organized. The tour guide was Alexey Zagidulin, Associate Professor of the Department of Belarusian History, Archaeology and Special Historical Disciplines.

Following the meeting, representatives of the two universities outlined prospects for further cooperation in the fields of educational, scientific and innovative activities between Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno and Peter the Great Saint Petersburg Polytechnic University.
