Representatives of YKSUG presented their psychological scientific school at the Anniversary Conference in Arkhangelsk

On April 23–24, Faculty of Psychology of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno co-organized the 20th Anniversary International Scientific Conference for Students, Postgraduates, and Young Scientists "Psychology and the Modern World: The Subject of Life Activity in Contemporary Society". The event was held at the Northern (Arctic) Federal University named after M. V. Lomonosov.

Opening the conference, Dean of the Faculty of Psychology at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, Volha Mitrafanova, addressed the participants. She emphasized the importance of the long-standing cooperation between the universities and the significance of dialogue among young scientists from the two countries.

During the plenary session, Tatsiana Parfenova, Associate Professor of the Department of Experimental and Applied Psychology and a young scientist at YKSUG, presented a report titled "Grodno Psychology: Traditions, Innovations, Contribution to Science".

Students of Faculty of Psychology also actively participated in the conference. The research of Anastasia Erkovich, a fourth-year student in the "Practical Psychology" program, received high praise from the jury. For her report on "The Influence of Maladaptive Schemas on the Formation of the Problem of Personal Time-Life Regulation in Students", she earned an honorable second place in the section "Current Issues in Psychology". The scientific supervisor of the student was Tatsiana Parfenova.

The participation of representatives from Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno in the conference not only strengthened friendly ties between the universities but also demonstrated the high level of professional and scientific training provided by YKSUG.
