FRIENDSHIP WITHOUT BORDERS: YKSUG WELCOMES A DELEGATION FROM MOSCOW

A roundtable discussion, held as part of the international scientific conference "Sociocultural and Ethno-Confessional Processes in Modern Society," opened up new horizons for international cooperation. It served as a venue for a warm meeting between students and faculty from Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno and a delegation from the Moscow State Institute of Culture.

On October 20, the roundtable brought together representatives from the university’s student council, the student council of the Faculty of History, Communication and Tourism, and students majoring in "Tourism and Hospitality" to meet with the delegation from the Moscow State Institute of Culture. The delegation included both students and their mentors, Elena Grigoryeva, Doctor of Cultural Studies, Professor and Head of the Department of Management and Economics of Culture, Ilya Grigoryev, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor, and Igor Knyazev, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Associate Professor. For the past year, the Department of Management and Economics of Culture has been collaborating with the Department of Tourism and Cultural Heritage, engaging in joint teleconferences and participating in various shared events.

The meeting program was packed with activities. Participants took part in an intellectual game called "Travel Suitcase," visited the Museum of the History of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, and discussed prospects for future collaboration and the implementation of joint projects between the two institutions. In the evening, second-year students majoring in "Tourism and Hospitality" led an engaging sightseeing tour of Grodno for their Russian guests.
