• Step 1. Choose your program

Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno can prepare you for more than 143 specialties with qualification in demand in the global market, all you have to do is to choose a suitable program (specialty, training form).

  • Step 2. Learn about admission and training conditions

Visit the website of our university or contact our representatives by phone/e-mail to learn about invitation letter, admission and training terms: necessary documents, entry requirements, curricula and other details.

  • Step 3. Prepare the documents and apply

The University will require you to submit an application with all relevant supporting documents by e-mail (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.)

If the documents meet all the criteria, you will receive an official invitation. The issuing of the invitation letter is FREE

  • Step 4. Receive your invitation and get your visa

Before buying a ticket, visit  the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus or the consulate of the Republic of Belarus in your country to learn if you need a visa to come to Belarus.

If residents of your country need a visa to come to Belarus, then you will need to get our university to send you an invitation to study and apply for a student visa at the Belarusian embassy in your country.

If your country does not have a diplomatic mission or consulate of the Republic of Belarus, you can obtain a visa upon arrival at the Minsk National Airport (at the Division for the Admission of Foreigners of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs).

NOTE! Remember to inform our university about the date of your arrival to Belarus! It is very important for the University to organize your transfer from the airport and make documents for hostel check-in. The additional information about the official university transfer you can find here.

  • Step 5 Registration and hostel

NOTE! Upon arrival to Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, the registration is obligatory within 1 working day after crossing the National border of the Republic of Belarus. To organize the registration, please provide the university with your passport with the Entry Study Visa to the Republic of Belarus (purpose of travel- education).

All international students of our university are provided with the place in the hostel. The accommodation fee is around 40 USD per month.

  • Step 6. Admission

To start the admission procedure, please submit to the university the documents, indicated in your invitation letter.

After that you will need to go through the interview process in the university. The interview can be in English or Russian (depending on the chosen language of instruction).

If you pass the interview, you can sign the agreement on education and pay tuition fee.

After all the admission process is over, you can ask your faculty about the schedule and student’s card
