Lecturer of YKSUG Ihar Martynenko took part in an International Conference on Artificial Intelligence

On April 16, the Faculty of Law of Lomonosov Moscow State University hosted an international scientific-practical conference on the theme "Responsible Use of Artificial Intelligence in Legal Education and Research Activities: Law, Ethics and University Policy". The event brought together scholars from Russia, Belarus, China, and Vietnam.
The main topic of the conference was the challenges of using artificial intelligence in legal education and science. Representatives of science and education from Moscow, St. Petersburg, Grodno, and Shanghai discussed key aspects of integrating artificial intelligence into science and education and listened to reports devoted to the boundaries of technology application.
Ihar Martynenko, Head of the Department of Civil Law and Procedure at the Faculty of Law at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, delivered a plenary report entitled "Scientific-Expert Assessment of the Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Preparation of Qualifying Scientific Works in Legal Sciences within the Framework of Attestation of Highly Qualified Scientific Personnel". In his scientific work, he proposed a framework for the admissibility of using artificial intelligence and emphasized that its use must be declared.
Holding a conference on such a currently relevant topic makes it possible to set a direction for the further development of norms for the use of artificial intelligence in science and education.
