Students of YKSUG took part in an international conference on digital international relations

The IV International Scientific and practical conference "Digital International Relations 2025: People in the focus of digital development" was held on December 18-19 in Moscow.

The purpose of the conference was to discuss key trends and problems of digital transformation of international relations and the impact of digital technologies on human development. The conference also aimed to develop recommendations on ensuring digital transformation in the interests of sustainable and integrated human development and to share international experience and best practices in the field of information technology exports.

Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno was represented at the conference by 4th-year International Law students Cespedes Zabala Alonso Jose, Kirill Ivanovsky, Kirill Kazimirenko and Arseniy Kozlov, as well as 3rd-year International Law student Lavrenty Misuno.

As part of the program, students of YKSUG took part in a plenary session dedicated to discussing global strategies for technological development within the framework of international cooperation. In the sections, participants discussed the phenomenon of cybercrime and methods of combating it, the best international experience in government support for IT exports, information and analytical systems in socio-humanitarian research, methods of digital preservation of cultural heritage, and digital human rights. The participants were also able to participate in a digital chess tournament and attend a presentation of the Live Textbook project.

On December 19, events were held on databases for the study of international relations, digitalization, artificial intelligence, neuro-research of the human factor in international negotiations and neuro-linguistics, and modern Internet governance models.

The conference was organized by the Moscow State Institute of International Relations under the leadership of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Ivannikov Institute of System Programming of the Russian Academy of Sciences with the support of the Priority 2030 State Program for Strategic academic leadership.
