Russian language Summer School starts in YKSUG

 

 

Russian Language Summer School will be held at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno for three weeks - from the 1st till 21st of August.
Russian Language Summer School is organized by the Department of Russian as a foreign language and linguistic disciplines of the Faculty of Pre-University Training.
The summer school is created for foreign students who want to know the Russian language at a decent level, and wish to get acquainted with traditional and modern culture of Belarus.
The training program was developed taking into account immersion of international students into Russian language environment. In addition to regular classroom with experienced teachers of Russian as a foreign language, the students of the school will visit the most interesting historical sites, not only in Grodno, but in Belarus; they will meet with local craftsmen, who will give master classes on folk art; and will take an active part in the interactive program of the Slavic martial arts club "Aridan". In their spare time, guests will have the opportunity to communicate with Russian students-volunteers, to visit cinema or theater, galleries and exhibitions, to see the sights of the city.
The traditional elective course “Russian Karaoke” was developed in the framework of the School for those students who want to improve their pronunciation, to accelerate the speech tempo and to practice Russian songs.
The training will be provided for groups of 6-8 persons, formed depending on the level of knowledge of the Russian language.
On completing of the course students will receive a certificate of the participant of the Russian Language Summer School in YKSUG.
