The Technology Transfer Center is a separate structural unit of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.

Mission

Providing services to support technology transfer, innovation development, and entrepreneurship.

Objectives

  • Develop cooperation between developers, investors, producers, and consumers of science-intensive products (products, technologies, services)
  • Promote the commercialization of research, development, and innovation activities
  • Facilitate the development of entrepreneurship and innovative business

Spheres of Activities

1. Technology Transfer

The Center promotes the transfer of technology, knowledge, skills, and methods to production and service delivery between universities, enterprises, and other organizations. It ensures access to scientific and technological developments for further use in new products, processes, applications, materials, or services.

Services include:

  • Assistance in finding specific technologies or innovations for business development
  • Finding recipients for your technology
  • Consulting on technology transfer and intellectual property protection

2. Consulting on Innovation Financing

Advising on sources of innovative financing, including:

  • Innovative projects under state and regional programs
  • Innovation funds
  • European Union programs, etc.

3. Partner Search

Assisting companies and research organizations in finding reliable partners in Belarus and abroad for:

  • Development and implementation of innovations
  • Commercialization and transfer of new technologies
  • International research, technology, and innovation projects

4. Regional Scientific and Technical Program

Maintenance of the Grodno region program: "Sustainable Innovative Development of Grodno Region" (2026-2030)

Main goal: Integrate resources and stakeholders from science, industry, and the social sector to support socio-economic development through:

  • Introduction of new technologies
  • Modernization and technical re-equipment
  • Adoption of knowledge-based, resource-saving, energy-saving, and environmentally safe technologies
  • Progress in industrial and agricultural sectors

5. Development of Competencies for Innovation

Providing counseling, mentoring, and training services to develop skills and improve innovation-related competencies.

6. Promoting Innovation

  • Seminars
  • Publication of methodological and analytical materials
  • Organization of exhibitions and innovative project competitions
  • Participation in projects on innovation development, innovative entrepreneurship, and increasing investment attractiveness
