  • • Methodology of Linguistic Researches
In the course of studying the academic discipline “Methodolo-gy of Linguistic Research”, an acquaintance with the philoso-phical, general scientific and private linguistic methods of studying and describing language as a sign system and individual units of all levels of the language, preparation of undergraduates for research work in the field of linguistics with effective use of methods of language research will be made.
 
  • • Ethnopsycholinguistics
In the course of studying the discipline “Ethnopsycholinguis-tics”, the formation of ideas about what is universal and culturally specific in commu-nication is carried out, i.e. the national and cultural specificity of speech activity is studied in the range of problems relevant to modern science.

The course “Fundamentals of Comparative Typological Linguistics” provides an acquaintance with the main achievements of modern typology and contrastive linguistics, gives a general idea of the basic principles of typological classification of languages and the most significant typological parameters, explains the methodology of typological and comparative research, prepares students for research activities within the framework of comparative and typological direction.

In the course of studying the discipline “Directions of modern linguistics”, the formation of the linguistic and linguocultural competences of the philologist takes place, the readiness to productively solve professional problems in the aspect of linguistic analysis of the text, the theoretical foundations of the study of linguistics at this stage of the development of science are being improved, practical recommendations are given for the analysis of complex and ambiguous modern linguistics of linguistic phenomena.

Linguodidactics is an applied linguistic discipline that considers both teaching a foreign language and mastering a foreign language. Linguodidactics explores the general patterns of teaching languages, develops methods and means of teaching a particular language, depending on didactic goals, studies the influence of monolingualism or bilingualism on language acquisition and solves a number of related problems.

  • • Coursework
The main task of the course work is the formation of the ability of independent scientific research to study a given topic, including the development of the skill to find the necessary information from various sources, the application in practice of various scientific research methods, the improvement of the skill of formulating the subject, goals, objectives and conclusions of scientific research.
