Prospects of cooperation: delegation of Namangan State Pedagogical Institute visited Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno

On 2 December, the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno hosted a meeting with representatives of Namangan State Pedagogical Institute, Republic of Uzbekistan.

The delegation of Namangan State Pedagogical Institute was headed by Murodhon Rashidkhonovich Kodirkhonov, vice-rector for Research and Innovation. The delegation included Alisher Mukhammedovich Tursunpulatov, the head of the International Cooperation Department and teacher Elur Abdulhamidovich Abdulvokhidov. The purpose of the visit was to strengthen mutually beneficial relations and exchange experience in the field of education and science.

At the meeting, Yanka Kupala State University was represented by vice-rectors, deans and heads of structural units, who were ready to discuss the prospects of co-operation. Irina Kiturko, rector of GrSU named after Yanka Kupala, opened the event. In her welcoming speech she emphasised the importance of international cooperation in the modern educational space and noted that such meetings contribute to the exchange of knowledge and cultural enrichment.

The central topic of the meeting was the discussion of scientific co-operation, academic mobility of students and teachers, as well as joint scientific projects. The participants exchanged views on modern trends in education, discussed the possibilities of organizing joint conferences and seminars, as well as student exchange programs.

In conclusion, the parties expressed confidence that this is only the beginning of a long-term and productive cooperation that will benefit both Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno and Namangan State Pedagogical Institute. The establishment of such partnerships opens new horizons for scientific and cultural exchange, which in turn will have a positive impact on the educational processes in both countries.

It should be noted that the First Belarusian-Uzbek Forum of Professional Education, which was held in Minsk from 29 April to 1 May, became a springboard for the formation of partnership relations between the universities. The main goal of the event was to strengthen co-operation between the two countries in training highly qualified specialists.
