Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno and Karshi State University have established cooperation

On May 2, a meeting was held at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno with a delegation of Karshi State University from the Republic of Uzbekistan headed by the rector of the University Dilmurod Nabiyev.

The Rector of Karshi State University, Doctor of Economics, Professor Nabiev Dilmurod Hamidullaevich was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno at the University Council for his major contribution to the development of international cooperation in the field of education, increasing the authority of Kupala University in the international arena. Rector of the Yanka Kupala State State University Irina Kiturko solemnly presented the guest with a mantle and a certificate of honorary professor.

During the visit, a cooperation agreement was signed between the two universities. The agreement provides for the development of academic and scientific cooperation, the exchange of students and teachers, the implementation of joint educational and research projects.

Rector of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno Irina Kiturko noted that the signing of the agreement opens up new opportunities for effective cooperation between the two universities. She stressed that Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno is interested in developing relations with universities in Uzbekistan, in particular, with Karshi State University, which has high scientific and educational potential.

Rector of Karshi State University Dilmurod Nabiyev and Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Karshi State University Abdulhamid Kholmurodov expressed gratitude for the warm welcome. Dilmurod Khamidullayevich noted that the cooperation agreement is an important step in the development of relations between the two universities.

During the visit, the delegation of Karshi State University got acquainted with the material and technical base of the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, visited the faculties and research laboratories of the university.

The signing of a cooperation agreement between Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno and Karshi State University contributes to strengthening interuniversity ties and cultural exchange between Belarus and Uzbekistan.

Thus, the cooperation of the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno with higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan was established in 2009, when a cooperation agreement was signed with the Tashkent Automobile and Road Institute, now the Tashkent State University of Transport.

To date, Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno cooperates with universities of the Republic of Uzbekistan within the framework of 22 interuniversity agreements.
