Students and graduates of the Faculty of Pre-university training Shuai Jinjun and Francisco Ruiz became finalists of the video contest "Speak Russian, I understand!".

The international competition in Russian for international students "Creativity unites the world!" was held from May 16 to May 19, 2023. Representatives from 18 countries of the world were able to take part, these are students of Russian and foreign universities studying in various fields of training.

The competition included two independent directions and provided an opportunity to choose one of the forms of participation — oral or written. The main condition is that the materials sent to the competition had to be in Russian.

The first form of participation was a video contest "Speak Russian, I understand!". The contestants had to record and send to the address of the organizing committee a video where they talk about their native country, city and university.

The second form of participation is the essay contest "I like Russian!". Participants who speak Russian at the B2-C2 level were invited to speculate on the topic ""Language is the history of the people. Language is the path of civilization and culture": as I understand the statement of the Russian writer A. I. Kuprin."
