YKSUG and Norwegian University of Science and Technology entered into the cooperation agreement

Within Belarusian and Norwegian initiative “Investigating Pedagogical learning Spaces” the delegation of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, headed by Vladimir Barsukov, Vice-rector for Scientific Affairs, visited Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), Trondheim.
The delegation also consisted of Liudmila Rychkova, Head of the General and Slavonic Linguistics Department, Svetlana Gonchar, Head of the Foreign Languages Department, and Olga Perkova, senior lecturer of General and Slavonic Linguistics Department from the Faculty of Philology.
Representatives from YKSUG examined educational process and disciplines crediting, taken into account academic exchanges in Norwegian universities. Besides, they have discovered new ways for realization of “smart learning” of students from different specialities at digital and engineering labs of NTNU two faculties. Such labs realize pedagogical technologies of “learning by doing”, “simulation method” with database of “flexible pedagogical learning spaces” creating. All these technologies have their goals comprehensive optimization of study process and grant a possibility to work in team, realize projects and cases, and remotely cooperate in “teacher – student(s) - teacher” and “student(s) – student(s)” modes.
Workers of our university have also successfully completed intense scientific and pedagogical internship at the largest university of Norway.
There was a meeting with Terje Meisler, Dean of the Faculty of Technology of NTNU, Ketil Arnesen, Head of the Natural Science Department, and also with heads and coworkers from different departments of NTNU. Representatives from Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno and Norwegian University for Science and Technology discussed possible directions of cooperation and signed a cooperation agreement, which established 2016 program.
As a result of the meeting, there has been drafted an agreement, which gave a possibility to run joint educational project “Innovative Collaborative Learning Spaces in Belarus and Norway”, as well, as work has been done for making scientific application, that will be sent to “Innovative Collaborative Learning Spaces in Belarus and Norway”. It was also a time to draft an application to the contest, held by the Norwegian Centre for International Cooperation in Education – SIU.
