On 22nd March, 2016 Yury Bialykh, Vice-Rector for Academic Matters, held the meeting with the staff of the Faculty of Economics and Management and international guests.
Yury Bialykh, welcoming the guests, noted the importance of cooperation with Kazakhstan universities for Belarus. In addition, he told the guests about the university and expressed hope for fruitful cooperation with Kazakhstan universities, which have great experience with international rankings and successfully train specialists in the framework of the Bologna process.
Lecturers of Kazakhstan universities told about their universities noted the high development of academic mobility. A representative of D. Serikbayev East Kazakhstan State Technical University told about the opportunity to take joint master’s program, according to which students of MA course can study at two universities (home and abroad) simultaneously. After graduating they get two Master diplomas.
At the end of the meeting one of the master students thanked to Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno for the opportunity to take internships and expressed the confidence in successful use of knowledge, acquired at YKSUG, in writing of his Master’s Thesis.
In the framework of scientific internship academic staff of the Faculty of Economics and Management conducted open lectures and seminars for representatives of Kazakhstan universities.
International guests also visited the FEZ Grodnoinvest Administration, took part in round table discussion of “Current issues on cooperation of Economics and economic education: world experience and Eurasian tendencies” and “Directions and forms of cooperation between Belarus and Kazakhstan universities in training of economic experts and collaborative research”. In addition, a cultural program for guests was held: visiting of YKSUG history museum, excursion in historical sites of Grodno and Grodno region.
Akmaral Temirova, Dean of Pre-University Training, Ph.D. (Economics),Associate Professor, will read lectures and conduct seminars on world economy as a visiting professor.
