The conference welcomes representatives no only philological specialties (specialist in study of literature and linguists), but also other humanities (philosophers, historians, specialists in study of culture).
The conference consists of two stages:
- September 19-21, 2016 – at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno
- September 22-23, 2016 – at University of Bialystok
   You can take part in one stage (1 report and 1 publishing) or in 2 ones (2 different reports and 2 publishings). Each stage provides different sections and events.
   The issue of “Anthropology of time: time perception and correlation of categories of time such as people - culture - thinking - language – communication” will be discussed in the conference in Grodno.
   The conference also covers following aspects:
- cultural and national time models and its reflection in literature and language;
- persistence of the effect of eternity – history – daily routine, temporality categories on human mentality and behavior;
- letter – telephone – telegraph – e-mail as signs of time;
- time in information civilization;
- time in different spaces – in megalopolis, city, towns, village, manor; on holiday and situation of time trouble and stress;
- stopping and stopped time;
- time of altered consciousness (creativity, illness and etc.);
   The issue of “Anthropology of future: images of future in a historical aspect” will be discussed in the conference in Bialystok. The following issues will be discussed:
- prophetic literary genres: apocalypse, prophecy, visions, prophetic dreams, utopia and dystopia, science fiction and other fiction genres, novels warnings, philosophical and social projects, etc.;
- historical and literary portraits of prophets, forerunners, clairvoyants, futurists and scientists, science fiction writers;
- predictions and reality: the genesis of the prophecies and futuristic images and their real effectiveness in the past; modern literature and real and predicted threats;
- the prospects for post- and transhumanism in modern literature.
   Working languages are Russian, Polish, Belarussian, Ukrainian and English.
   Speech time-limit: plenary speech – 25 minutes, sectional speech – 20 minutes.
