On November 2, a lesson on "Video as a learning tool" was held for representatives of the Kokand Pedagogical Institute named after Mukimi (Uzbekistan), who arrived as part of the advanced training courses "Technologies for improving the quality of teaching and learning at universities". The speaker was the head of the Journalism Department Inna Minchuk. She also introduced Uzbek colleagues to the student media center of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, which provides opportunities for practical professional training and creative realization of students.
In addition, on the same day, a heuristic distance lesson on the discipline "Innovative Pedagogy" was held for 2nd-year students of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology of the Kokand Pedagogical Institute named after Mukimi. An online lesson on the topic "The universe of a digital teacher" was conducted by a participant of the courses, associate professor of the Department of Pedagogy of the Kokand Pedagogical Institute named after Mukimi Utkir Zhumakuzievich Yuldoshev, together with representatives of EMM Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno on the Zoom platform. And in the evening Utkir Yuldoshev became a guest of the stream of the Student Media Center and the Department of Journalism "STREAM".
Upon completion of the module "Innovative teaching methods and technologies", students of advanced training courses from the Kokand State Pedagogical Institute named after Mukimi, together with moderators, will summarize the results at a round table.
Ahead of the Uzbek colleagues are classes, trainings, discussions within the framework of two more training modules "Psychological aspects of teacher–student interaction" and "Designing educational programs".

During the friendly visit, from October 23 to October 30, agreements on cooperation between educational institutions of the People's Republic of China and Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno were signed.
As part of his working trip, the First Vice-rector took part in the conference "International cooperation in Industry, Education and science", where the main purpose of the event was to provide a platform for negotiations and establishing international contacts aimed at strengthening the partnership between Belarus and China in the field of education.
Alexander Karevsky, a representative of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, signed a cooperation agreement with the Cambridge Harbin Institute, and also got acquainted with the material and technical equipment of the university, in particular with educational bases and laboratories.
The first vice-rector of the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno visited the campus of the Yantai Scientific and Technical Professional College, where he took part in the discussion of the development and implementation of innovative developments at the university. An important event of the visit was the signing of a cooperation agreement with the Yantai Professional College of Science and Technology. In the final days of the working trip, the signing with the College of Economics and Trade of Jiangjiang City took place.
It should be noted that the parties are interested in scientific developments and internships, advanced training of the teaching staff in areas of mutual interest, exchange of students, undergraduates, postgraduates.

The conference was held in Harbin, in the People's Republic of China. The event is organized by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China and the Department of Education of Heilongjiang Province. The first vice-rector of the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, Alexander Karevsky, took part in it.
The event is dedicated to promoting the development of strategic partnership between China and Belarus. The culmination of the event was the signing ceremony of contracts, which took place during the opening of the conference. This significant event will serve to strengthen bilateral cooperation and will contribute to the establishment of strong friendly relations. Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno has signed a cooperation agreement with the Harbin Institute "Cambridge".
The conference participants were addressed by Deputy Minister of Education of the People's Republic of China Sun Yao, who noted the importance of the close relationship between the real sector of the economy and the academic community. He stressed that the ties between universities and industry should grow, strengthen, and bear fruit. It is especially important, as the Deputy Minister noted, to enter into broader cooperation with universities in Belarus and Russia.
An important goal of the conference was to provide a platform for negotiations and the establishment of international contacts aimed at strengthening the partnership between Belarus and China in the field of education.

Meetings of the Information and Analytical Legal Center and the Expert Advisory Council under the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly were held in St. Petersburg. The head of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Procedure and Criminalistics Rimma Klyuchko took part in the meetings.
At the meeting of the Information and Analytical Legal Center, the results of the parliamentary monitoring of the military-political situation in the Eastern European region of Collective Security of the CSTO were summed up (September 5-6, 2023, the Republic of Belarus).
The members of the Information and Analytical Legal Center got acquainted with proposals to amend the Program of Activities of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly on the convergence and harmonization of the national legislation of the CSTO member states for 2021-2025, discussed the impact of the Eurasian Arc of Instability on regional security and the internal political situation in the CSTO member states, and also considered the classification of objects of cognitive security in the CSTO space and approaches to its legal regulation.
During the meeting of the Expert Advisory Council, 13 issues related to the harmonization of the legislation of the CSTO member states in the fields of security, cybersecurity and illegal migration were considered.

2nd year undergraduate student of the Faculty of Biology and Ecology Anastasia Sosna completed an internship at the Department of Entomology of the Faculty of Biology of Lomonosov Moscow State University.
Anastasia attended lectures on molecular genetic methods in entomology, synanthropic insects, introduction to entomology, geographical distribution of Palearctic insects and methods of population control.
The master's student was able to listen to lectures by outstanding scientists and work in the laboratories of M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. Anastasia Sosna has mastered a number of research and dissection methods for studying the functional morphology of the oral apparatus of insects using optical, confocal and electron microscopy. The young scientist performed DNA electrophoresis in agarose gel of the common mosquito (Culex pipiens) in order to separate DNA fragments by length and size on the basis of the laboratory of Molecular Genetics under the guidance of a specialist of the Department of Entomology in Molecular Biology Nadezhda Oyun.
The girl managed to work on the basis of the A.N. Belozersky Research Institute of Physico-Chemical Biology of Moscow State University and get new research skills in the field of insect physiology.

The conference will gather participants for the third time. The scientific event is timed to the 10th anniversary of the Faculty of History, Communication and Tourism of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.
The III International Scientific Conference "Eastern Europe: Contexts of Socio-economic Development" will be held on October 19. It will be attended by the leading teaching staff of educational institutions, researchers, postgraduates, undergraduates, students, educators, specialists of Belarus and Russia.
The conference aims to bring together scientists from different countries to discuss the problems of socio-economic development of Eastern European countries and exchange research experience. Strengthening the socio-economic situation of the population is one of the priority areas for the development of Eastern European countries. In the process of its implementation, the society faces various obstacles that are associated with political, social, economic, cultural and historical features of the formation of sovereign states in the post-Soviet space.
The consequences of the coronavirus pandemic have led to the transformation of labor relations, consumer behavior, market structure, and a decrease in the pace of economic development. There is a need to consolidate scientists to study and analyze strategic directions of socio-economic development of the region and to assist in solving urgent problems.
During the conference, participants will discuss the social and cultural aspects of modernization processes in the economies of Eastern Europe, monetary practices of the population and investment behavior, the development of entrepreneurship in Eastern Europe. Scientists will talk about the transformation of labor, professions in the conditions of digitalization, precarization of employment, will touch on the consumer behavior of the population of Eastern Europe, features and problems of market development in Eastern Europe. In addition, the participants will address the issues of socio-economic structure and mobility of the population of Eastern European countries.

The event was attended by Minister of Emergency Situations of Belarus Vadim Sinyavsky, Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Disaster Relief Alexander Kurenkov and Deputy Minister of Emergency Situations of Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Syzdykov.
The heads of the rescue agencies of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia discussed the effectiveness and summed up the results of trilateral cooperation in the field of emergency prevention and response, as well as such important issues as cooperation in case of emergencies in border areas and the organization of a system of joint response to major natural and man-made accidents.
Opening the event, Vadim Sinyavsky stressed that the interaction of the emergency departments of Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia is not only of a multifaceted professional nature, but also an example of good-neighborly open and friendly relations.
According to the source of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus, during the meeting, priority areas of work for next year were identified and the minutes of the meeting of the Joint Board were signed. Obid Tursunov conducted classes with undergraduates of the Faculty of Biology and Ecology of the specialties "Ecology" and "Biology" in the discipline "Adaptation of ecosystems to climate change".

The parties agreed to create working groups for conducting scientific research, joint scientific events, to involve scientific, practical, research organizations and other enterprises and institutions, as well as individual scientists, specialists and practitioners to implement common scientific programs and projects.
