Best Innovative Youth Project was chosen at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno

  13705 22222 1On 31th March, 2016 the presentation of the most interesting and perspective youth projects of YKSUG students was held.

  The students offered innovative ideas such as creation of student scientific laboratories, board games clubs, leisure centres, organization of youth forums, reconstruction of the country architecture monuments and etc.

  The expert committee was represented by Anton Glazev, Deputy Vice-Rector for Scientific Matters, Head of Scientific-Research Unit, Alexander Yoda, Head of Electronic Communication Office of PRC, Andrei Esin, Secretary of Belarusian Republican Youth Union, Natalia Krupitsa, Deputy Head of Students Trade Union, Elena Potko, Head of Department of Support and Implementation of Youth Projects and Initiatives.

  According to the experts’ opinion the winner became Mikhail Ermolenko, 5-year student of the Faculty of Innovative Mechanic Engineering. His project was about ecology: collection, storage and transportation of used car tires.

  The second place took the students of the Faculty of History, Communication and Tourism. The presented the project about development of cycle sport in Grodno.

  The third place took the students of the Faculty of Pedagogy. Their project was about development of tolerance between healthy children and children with special needs.

  The students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics and their project about virtual guide to Grodno was the best in IT-project nomination. Tourists will have an opportunity to learn more about Grodno sights and get supplemental information about culture and entertainment establishments offline.

  The team of the Faculty of Law offered the idea to create a scientific-research laboratory of modern legal systems interaction. This project was determined as the best student scientific idea.

  Special prize of Belarusian Republican Youth Union won the students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, which project was about creation at the university leisure centre “WAYF” for KVN (Club of the Funny and Inventive People) development.

  The winners were awarded Diplomas and Premiums of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno as well as gifts of Student Trade Union and the Head of “Living history” project.
