Jan Pivnik was at faculty of innovative technologies of mechanical engineering of the Yanka Kupala State University for The Invited Professor program.

Within the visit the guest has given lecture and practical classes with undergraduates of specialty "Processing of Constructional Materials in Mechanical Engineering" in disciplines "Resource-saving technologies in mechanical engineering" and "Progressive processing of constructional materials".

– At lectures of professor Jan Pivnik undergraduates of faculty of innovative technologies of mechanical engineering have got acquainted with features of technological processes of casting under pressure and the extrusion-aluminum alloys, processing of metals pressure, microjet technology of processing of materials, – the dean of faculty Alexander Skaskevich has noted. – The invited expert has told about realization of progressive technologies of processing of materials at the western enterprises. Undergraduates had liked the practical training on which they under the leadership of professor chose necessary material for production of a concrete detail very much.

During the meetings with employees and students of faculty professor Jan Pivnik has shared personal experience within  international research projects, the custom-made enterprises of Switzerland, Austria, Canada and other countries. As emphasize at faculty of innovative technologies of mechanical engineering, the invited professor was impressed by audience of listeners. Undergraduates have shown high interest and high debatable activity therefore professor Jan Pivnik has expressed desire and readiness to continue the work with them. The guest also has urged graduates to be interested in scientific achievements of world level and to continue training in a magistracy.
