"URA Grodno!" is an environmental initiative of the project “Civic engagement in environmental monitoring and improving environmental management at the local level”, which is being implemented by UNDP in partnership with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection of the Republic of Belarus. The environmental initiative "URA Grodno!" is supported by representatives of teaching staff of the Faculty of Biology and Ecology, the Faculty of Law at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, as well as university students, school students, school teachers, preschoolers, residents of Grodno and its region.
The acquired personal protective equipment for the prevention of viral respiratory diseases was transferred to health care institutions of Grodno, as well as to partners of the environmental initiative «URA Grodno!» within the framework of the Open City Forum of Environmental Ideas "Grodno: Together on the Path of Sustainable Development".
Several hundred medical masks, gowns, antiviral suits and disposable caps were purchased for the physicians of the Grodno Regional Clinical Hospital Of Medical Rehabilitation, City Clinical Hospital No. 4 and other institutions. Also at the expense of the initiative "URA Grodno!" non-contact infrared electronic thermometers, air sanitizer, medical respirators, gloves, disinfection foot mats, hand sanitizers and means for emergency disinfection of indoor surfaces will be purchased for the needs of the Health Center of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.
