"Unity is Strength": International Online Quiz unites students of Belarus and Russia

On April 2, the Day of Unity of the Peoples of Belarus and Russia, the traditional thematic quiz "Unity is Strength" took place. The organizers of the international educational platform were the Departments of Foreign Languages of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno and Saratov State Academy of Law.
The event, held for the third time, united students from partner universities in a single online space. Participants were able to test their knowledge of the history of the Union State, as well as the culture and traditions of the brotherly peoples. A special feature of the quiz is that it is entirely developed in English, which gives the project not only an educational but also a high academic status, allowing students to practice professional vocabulary.
The project demonstrates a steady increase in interest from Belarusian participants. In 2025, 750 representatives from Russian educational institutions and 554 representatives from Belarus took part in the quiz, whereas in 2026, the number of Belarusian participants grew to 690. In total, 1,259 people tested their knowledge this year, including 569 representatives from Russian universities.
The organizers emphasize that the quiz is primarily educational in nature, contributing to the strengthening of friendly ties and mutual understanding between the youth of the two countries.
