Representatives of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno took part in the training seminar "Development of open educational resources"

The training was held on the basis of Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) within the framework of the Erasmus + "Change in Classroom: Promoting Innovative Teaching & Learning to Enhance Student Learning Experience in Eastern Partnership Countries" (PRINTeL) project.

During the seminar, representatives of the leading partner universities of Armenia, Georgia and Belarus were invited to discuss matter of topical interest related to the possibilities of developing and using open educational resources in higher education institutions.

One of the latest innovations in education is the possibility of distance learning through online e-courses. Representatives of Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (Belgium) shared their experience in developing massive open online courses (MOOCs), gave exposure to the use of free public licenses Creative Commons, with which authors can distribute their works more widely and freely, and content consumers can legally and more easily use their works.

During one of the workshops, the participants were asked to develop a script in groups and record a video presentation of a piece of the training course using open educational resources. The results of the group work were presented on the final day of the workshop and provoked vigorous discussion. All participants of the training seminar received certificates.
