Introducing Yury Ramanouski as First Vice-Rector to the personnel of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, Iryna Kiturka, Rector, noted that Mr. Ramanouski is a true professional of his craft:

– This is an example of a man of action who worries about the result of his work. This is a person who does any job with great desire and, most importantly, with a smile. Everything that Mr. Ramanouski undertakes, he does with great dedication, puts his heart and soul.

Iryna Kiturka presented Yury Ramanouski a gift from the university’s personnel and wished him success, good luck and significant achievements in his new position. In his turn, Mr. Ramanouski thanked for the trust and attention shown on this day.

Yury Ramanouski graduated from Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno in 1997. He took a postgraduate course at the Belarusian State University, PhD in Physics and Mathematics, Associate Professor.

Yury Ramanouski began his career at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno in 2002. Until 2008, he worked at the university as a lecturer and then as a senior lecturer in the Department of Algebra, Geometry and Mathematics Teaching Methodology of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics. From 2008 to 2010, he worked as Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics, from 2010 to 2015 as Head of the Academic Affairs Department, from 2015 to 2019 as Dean of the Faculty of Pre-University Training. From 2019 to the present day, he has being holding a position of Vice-Rector for Science at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno. 

Yury Ramanouski is the author of more than 70 scientific and scientific-methodical works, the developer of the courses "Geometry and Algebra", "Differential Geometry and Topology".

Yury Ramanouski was awarded a Certificate of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus, Certificates of Honor of the Main Department of Education of Grodno Regional Executive Committee, a Certificate of Honor and a Certificate of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno. In 2016, he formed part of the honor roll of the Leninsky District of Grodno. In 2015, by the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Belarus,  Yury Ramanouski was awarded a commendation for his fruitful work, exemplary performance of employment duties and achievements in the field of science and education.
