Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno Yuri Bialykh and postgraduate student of YKSUG Shen Peng became a part of the Belarusian delegation headed by first Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Vadim Anatolievich Bogush.
   In Guangzhou, the representatives of our country participated in the forum of Rectors of Belarus and China and in the meeting of the Commission on cooperation in the field of education of the Belarusian-Chinese intergovernmental cooperation Committee, which was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Minister of Education of China Hao Ping, first Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Vadim Bogush.
   According to the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of YKSUG Yuri Bialykh, the main attention at the forum was paid to the areas of cooperation in education between the two countries, which are associated with the organization and holding of joint scientific research and educational programs. In addition, during the visit the Belarusian delegation signed a Protocol on cooperation between Belarus and China in 2016-2017, which provides the exchange of teaching staff, participation in joint research projects and the development of academic mobility.
   In Guangzhou, Yuri Bialykh and Shen Peng visited a number of educational institutions and participated in International education Expo, which showcased the colleges and universities of different countries, including Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.
   The next meeting of the rectors of the two countries scheduled for 2017. Perhaps, Grodno will be chosen as a venue.
