The event was attended by scientists from Belarus and Poland, who presented their research in the field of literary studies, linguistics, history, cultural studies, local history and tourism.
The scientific and practical conference was held within the international technical assistance project «Preservation of Eliza Orzeszkowa's and Liudwik Zamenhof's historical and cultural heritage in Grodno and Bialystok». The project is being implemented jointly by Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno and the University of Bialystok. The conference was organized by the Faculty of Philology and the Faculty of History, Communication and Tourism at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.
Scientists from Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, as well as the University of Bialystok and the Jagiellonian University in Krakow presented their reports at the international scientific and practical conference "Eliza Orzeszkowa and Liudwik Zamenhof in Grodno and Bialystok". As a result of the conference, the publication of a monograph, which will include research by Belarusian and Polish scientists, is planned.
