The Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno hosted a reception of representatives of the Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering (Sibstrin)

From April 8-10 at the Faculty of Engineering of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, invited guests Vladimir Sebeshev and Yuri Gerber held educational lectures and master classes, as well as laboratory and practical classes.

On Monday, April 8, the Faculty of Engineering of the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno hosted a reception of representatives of the Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, within the framework of which an acquaintance with the structure and material and technical base of the faculty was organized.

Professor Vladimir Sebeshev conducted lectures and master classes for 2nd year students in the academic discipline "Construction Mechanics" on the topics: "General properties of statically indeterminate systems (SNS); "Methods for calculating statically indeterminate systems – classification. The general concept of the force method" and "The meaning of the canonical equations of the force method (COOMS).

As part of the scientific internship, Associate Professor of Novosibirsk State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering Yuri Gerber studied educational and methodological materials developed at the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno on the academic discipline "Automation of calculations and design in Construction", and also attended a laboratory lesson on the academic discipline "Informatics and Computer Design".

On Tuesday, April 9, the Faculty of Engineering continued to introduce Russian colleagues to the potential of the Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno.

Professor Vladimir Sebeshev gave a lecture on the discipline "Construction Mechanics" on the topic: "Verification of the results of the calculation of statically indeterminate systems (SNS) by the force method. The general algorithm for calculating the SNA by the force method. Features of calculation by the method of forces of systems of different types under different types of influences", and also conducted practical classes in the discipline "Construction mechanics" on the topic: "Calculation of a twice statically indeterminate frame by the method of forces on force action." The invited guests studied the software tools used at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno in the academic discipline "Automation of calculations and design in construction", and also attended laboratory classes on the academic discipline "Automation of calculations and design in construction".

On Wednesday, April 10, the working visit of foreign colleagues came to an end: Vladimir Sebeshev completed a series of lectures on the discipline "Construction

Mechanics", and Yuri Gerber attended the culminating lecture session on the academic discipline "Automation of calculations and design in construction".
