Ivan Martynov, Professor at the Department of Mathematical Analysis, Differential Equations and Algebra, told about the fate and career of his graduate: "In school years Stanislav showed his knowledge in mathematics. I saw him for the first on the city Olympiad in school subjects, where he first solved all tasks and became the winner". Stanislav entered Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno, where he mastered the five-year training plan for 4 years and when he was 21 he mastered his thesis. A few years later he became the youngest Doctor of Science in Belarus. Now he is an Associate Professor at the Center for Urban Science and Progress at New York University in the United States.
The guest gave a lecture to students on complex networks of cities, having noted the prospects opened to the public in the IT-field.
After the lecture Stanislav Sobolevsky answered the questions of the audience, spoke about student years in YKSUG, career development, life abroad and new development in the IT-field.
