Postgraduate program
Postgraduate program presupposes the training of scientific personal of higher qualification. It provides possibility to take a scientific qualification «Researcher» and an academic degree of the Candidate of Science.

Master’s Degree Program is the second stage of higher education that provides special training, research activities and general disciplines training.

Preparatory department for foreign citizens
Preparatory department for foreign citizens includes learning of the Russian language and academic subjects necessary to enter Higher Educational Establishments of the Republic of Belarus to obtain higher education in accordance with the chosen training profile.
After completion of the program students are issued Certificates, allowing to continue their education at higher educational establishments of the Republic of Belarus.

Admission procedure
After crossing the border of the Republic of Belarus and arriving in Grodno foreign citizens must address Recruiting and Registration of International Citizens Department for admission:
Admission requirements
For Preparatory Department for Foreign Citizens:
1) Fulfil the application for admission in accordance with the established form;
2) Present the following documents:
3) All the documents issued in foreign language, their legalization or apostille must be accompanied by their translation into Russian. All the documents’ translations except passport translation must be verified by the notary and presented together with the originals.
4) Conclude the agreement on educational services
5) Pay your school fee within the period indicated in the agreement.
6) Present your receipt to the Recruiting and Registration of International Citizens Department
For Bachelor’s degree course:
1) Fulfil the application for admission in accordance with the established by the Ministry of Education form;
2) Present the following documents:
3) All the documents issued in foreign language, their legalization or apostille must be accompanied by their translation into Russian. All the documents’ translations except passport translation must be verified by the notary and presented together with the originals.
4) Pass the interview on the language of study and additional examination in the field of study.
5) Conclude the agreement on educational services
6) Pay your school fee within the period indicated in the agreement.
The Deadline for admission is October 15.
For Master’s degree course:

NOTE! International citizens from some countries need to send their national certificates of education to recognition and equivalency bodies in the Republic of Belarus. Experts will establish whether the current degree is sufficient to apply for the chosen programme. In this case you will need to apply to the Republic Institute of Higher Education (ENIC of Belarus), which can provide this service.
Checking into the hostel and registration
Dear student of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno!
REGISTRATION PROCESSING
For registration, a foreign citizen must submit his/her passport on the day of crossing the state border of the Republic of Belarus (or on the next day) to the Recruiting and registration of international citizens department, address: Lenina Str., 32-2 Grodno.
The university staff draws up a temporary registration of a foreign citizen in the internal affairs bodies of the Republic of Belarus.
Registration (temporary residence) of a foreign citizen is issued within 10 days from the moment of crossing the border of the Republic of Belarus free of charge through the unified portal of electronic services. In case of crossing the border through the Russian Federation the service is paid - 1 base value.
Registration of a foreign citizen (temporary residence for one year) with the internal affairs authorities of the Republic of Belarus takes place after the issuance of an enrolment order.
Registration fee is 40 USD.
For registration, a foreign citizen must submit the following documents to the Recruiting and registration foreign citizens department: passport, notarized translation of passport, insurance (issued in Belarusian insurance companies) (except for citizens of Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Ukraine), apartment lease contract (if the foreign citizen lives at a private address), 4 photos of 3x4 size, a receipt for payment of the state duty.
Moving into the hostel
In order to move into the hostel it is necessary to:
Inform the Recruiting and registration of international citizens department about the date of arrival in the Republic of Belarus (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) no later than 3 days prior to arrival and on the day before arrival receive information about the address of the provided hostel.
On the day of arrival, contact the head of the hostel at the address given by the Recruiting and registration of international citizens department
Prepare the necessary documents to check in the hostel (medical commission and other sanitary and preventive procedures, payment for accommodation, registration of insurance).
Conclude a contract for accommodation in the hostel and move in at the address specified in the contract.
Provide the Recruiting and registration of international citizens department with a passport and the hostel accommodation contract for registration at theDepartment of citizenship and migration.
For 2nd-6th year students wishing to live in the hostel in the next academic year, before leaving the Republic of Belarus for holidays, it is necessary to register in the dean's office of the Faculty.
ATTENTION! All international students are provided with a place in the dormitory.
Cost: 40-50 USD per month depending on comfort and season.
Important! Compulsory prepayment for accommodation in the hostel 3 months in advance.
