In the disciplines taught, attention is paid to the latest achievements in the biology literature, as well as to the development of professional skills related to the practice and dissemination of modern biological sciences. Academic disciplines include molecular structure, functions of various enzymes and detailed study of basic biochemical processes.

Area of future professional occupation

Fields in which students can conduct research include cellular and molecular biology, microbiology, ecology and evolution, biology of organisms, genetics and epigenetics, environmental science, toxicology, physiology, development and various aspects of applied biology (for example, agriculture and nature conservation).

The Master's program prepares students to work in any teaching or research field, in the public and private sectors related to chemical and biological sciences.
