Representatives of Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno took part in a working meeting on the international technical assistance project "University Teaching and Learning Enhancement" (UniTeLe)

The working meeting in Minsk (Belarus) brought together representatives of 6 Belarusian universities, participants of the Erasmus + "University Teaching and Learning Enhancement " (UniTeLe) project, and the Project Coordinator from the Linnaeus University (Sweden). Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno was represented by Alesya Belko, the Local Project Coordinator, Head of International Projects Department and Oleg Kolyago, the Project Expert, Head of the Laboratory of Educational Innovation. The participants of the meeting presented the modules of a new educational programme for advanced training of the teaching staff, which is being developed on the basis of the best practices of European universities.

 

“During the meeting various options for partner universities interaction were discussed. Dissemination is an important part in the implementation of the project. We expect that the achievements of colleagues from European and Belarusian universities will help improve approaches to assessing the quality of the educational process at our university.” - said Alesya Belko.

The working group, moderated by Oleg Kolyago, is going to prepare a syllabus (a programme with a brief description of the topics studied) of the "Innovative teaching methods and technologies" module by the end of May. The module will include topics on active learning methods and the most popular ICT tools (online whiteboards, virtual simulators, wiki resources, etc.). The launch of the advanced training programme is planned for the end of September 2021.
