Students of YKSUG become winners of the National Youth Media Award "Media Generation 2026"

A creative team of students from the Department of Journalism won the First Degree Diploma at the student youth media competition "Media Generation 2026". The event took place within the framework of the 15th International Youth Media Forum "MediaStart".

Over the years of its existence, the "MediaStart" forum has grown into the largest platform that annually brings together young publishers and experienced media professionals. The "Media Generation 2026" competition, held as part of the forum, aims to draw attention to the development of university media projects, support creative initiatives, and identify the best student works.

The team included Angelika Stefanovich, a 4th-year student of the "Journalism" program; Daria Bakshuk, a 3rd-year student of the "Journalism" program; Sofia Ovsyanik, a 3rd-year student of the "Information and Communication" program; and Anastasia Stolyarchuk, a 2nd-year student of the "Information and Communication" program.

The students created two issues of the youth magazine "RE:POST", which sends readers on an engaging journey through an endless labyrinth of meanings on every page.

"We created 'RE:POST' to notice something new in ordinary things, to reveal the essence of incomprehensible phenomena, to surprise with unexpected twists, and to reintroduce you to the past through the lens of contemporary trends," shares Angelika Stefanovich.

The project's design deserves special attention.

"We aimed to create a truly youthful design: we broke layout rules, created original illustrations, and added vibrant accents. It was a real experiment and a challenge to conventional patterns," notes Daria Bakshuk.

We congratulate our talented students on their well-deserved victory! We wish them continued creative success, inspiration, and, of course, many more engaging "reposts"!
