• possess modern methods of mathematical modeling of systems and processes;

• possess computer methods of collecting, storing and processing information;

• possess methods and modern tools for data analysis and big data (Big Data); including multidimensional data analysis and unstructured data analysis;

• administer and configure computer systems and networks;

• simulate complex systems;

• develop new information technologies based on mathematical modeling and optimization;

• apply machine learning.

Area of future professional occupation

Graduates of the specialty work in IT-service companies, as well as in IT-companies that develop software products or programmers at enterprises and organizations that need the development, maintenance and operation of software networks and systems.

Students of this specialty have created more than one successful company of their own during their studies at the faculty.
